Our Story

Founded in 2008. Built on discipline, structure, and consistency.

What began as a personal mission to support my own son’s athletic development quickly grew into a respected Strength & Conditioning programme serving athletes across Portsmouth.

As a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer, I began working in local gyms while running my own private HIIT sessions and the well-known “Extreme Stoppers” classes. These high-intensity sessions built a reputation for hard work, accountability and serious conditioning.

Alongside this, I developed structured Strength & Conditioning programmes specifically for young footballers. What started with helping my son soon expanded as other parents saw the physical improvements — increased fitness levels, strength, confidence, and presence on the pitch.

Today, Fitness For Life specialises in youth athletic development, football-specific S&C, speed and explosive power, and building a competitive mindset.
